HATCHLING THREAD (VOL. 3) 2014-2015 Edition

Hypo Lava Lavender? hypo was in the mix so it's possible. The color is so intense the snake actually caught my eye from across the room as it was cruising in it's incubation container!

:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!

....Has anyone even made a hypo lava? I couldn't find one.

Dustin,
Not to my knowledge. The only one that probably would have had a first chance is Joe Pierce seeing he is the one who discovered the Lava gene early on and I don't recall him ever posting one.

Thanks Walter. Yeah, Joe produced my lava lavender. I think it would be interesting to see a hypo lava. Even though lavamels and amels look similar as hatchlings, from what I've seen lavamels mature to have noticeably nicer color with less white. So it has more than just a hypo effect. And hypo does the same thing to a lesser degree. I am just wondering if hypo lavas will look greater than the sum of their parts. If that's a hypo lava lavender it looks way more (understatement) colorful than the lava lavender baby pics I've seen, so I'm guessing the answer is yes!

Steve must get a kick out of skipping the never before seen two gene combos and adding a third mutation in there ;)

Lol! "Patiently" waiting for more amazing baby photos! :)

That hypo lava lavender has some amazing, amazing color! Can't wait to see what it looks like after it's first shed. Need to break out my bowl of popcorn lol.

Well if you decide you want one there's a bunch that will be available soon.

Thank you and you're welcome :)
Steve weren't you pairing a REALLY DARK set of Pewters in hopes of getting some near black corns? If so, how did they turn out?
I did pair them. this is part of the clutch. They were also PH Caramel Stripe Hypo. Well I'm pretty sure the Caramel proved out as you'll see soon.

WOW, those are amazing!

Thank you!!

Okay this is getting interesting. I have another pair (same line) of Het Striped Peppermints hatching.

Here's another "Snow" looking animal developing the orange coloration. Also man I don't even know what to type right now. Here, the darn thing looks like a Hypo Lavender. Although I got no Lavs in either clutch??? Is it one of those orange Ghosts that decided to color up quicker???
