Will a corn snake eat live fish?

I do not own any snakes yet. I'm in the research stage. I own a tropical fish hatchery and we have a large number of culls that we currently feed to a couple large snapping turtles. We have more than they can eat, and I'm thinking of getting a few snakes if our culls would make a good food source. I've read that garter snakes will take fish, so that is one option. I prefer the different phenotypes that the corns produce and am wondering if anyone has seen them take live fish from a container of water?

If not, are they any other types of snakes that would be fish eaters?

Not that I am aware of, but I suppose it is possible that a Corn would. It is not something I would do though.

If you are looking for fish eaters, I would go with the Garter Snake. They have a number of beautiful varieties.
I have a local friend (Casey Lazik) who breeds stunning California Red Sided Garters.
I have been tempted a few times to get one.

ive had some of Caseys red sided garters and they are very pretty...flighty but pretty lol

I checked out his website and he appears to into pythons now. Didn't see a mention of a garter snake.

Pity Scott Felzer seems to have sold off his garters. He had some real beauties. Garters are really enthusiastic eaters when it comes to live fish, though we prefer to feed f/t to avoid parasites.

Contact him.
He does breed them. He doesn't mention everything on his website. He also breeds Mexican Black Kingsnakes, which are not mentioned. :)

My fish are parasite-free, so that wouldn't be a problem.
