Good Evening,
If anyone’s read my introduction post, you’d know I’m a novice snake owner who’s wanting to do right.
Question is at what point does my corn snake laying on his heated side for days on end become a problem. At first it was “he just ate…digesting his meal” - it’s about to be day 4 and he really hasn’t left his hide.
I understand not handling for 48 hrs and don’t expect the digestive process to be complete in that time, however the instructions on the heating pad implied that having your snake choose to stay on the heated side is a problem - experienced owners please provide insight.
He’s moving around slightly - I’ll come home and his orientation is different, but for the most part he’s under his hide (it’s a hollowed out rock with hole in the top so I can see him without disturbing him)
Most likely overthinking; rather be safe than sorry
