New Adult Anery Girl: Twilight.

tricksterpup

I has nuttin to Say.
Well When I got this girl we thought she was a Charcoal. Seriously, you can not see the yellow on her side in normal light. I didn't notice it until I used a flash on her. A shop owner I trust even thought she was a charcoal due to it not having yellow.
But I got her last week and thought I would post pictures of her. She was an adoption through our herp society. I got her for $5.

The shots really lighten her up due to the flash.

That's a pretty anery, Jim. Yeah, she has a little yellow on the cheek, but she's still nicely non-yellow for an aneryA. The biggest giveaway that she's not a charcoal is her eyes-- way too much contrast between the pupil and iris to be a charcoal. :)

What a beautiful snake. I love the anery coloring... could see how you thought charcoal. Of course I don't have an eye for those things

Thanks, still trying to figure these morphs all out.

But could the flash pull up the difference? Like I sad, the yellow isn't even noticeable in normal light. I mean 10 people saw this snake and stated it didn't have yellow on it.

I was going to say the exact thing based on the pics. The eyes are a dead giveaway. But she looks great, especially the virtually no yellow.

People in general need to get over the idea that a black corn with no yellow has to be a charcoal. There are plenty of snakes out there that are regular anery A's that have NO yellow.

Likewise, I've got a phantom that has a TON of yellow. Charcoal does not mean 'no yellow'.

As has been stated---the eyes on these snakes are huge giveaways. Anerys have much more contrast---charcoals have almost none.

That is such a beautiful snake! :0) and I to love her name..5.00 though?? WOW!! I wish my area had a herp society to adopt out unwanted reptiles...I would be there so often..lol...great snake :0):spinner::):)
