What Morph is my snake?

OK, no pic yet, but soon. I'm hoping someone know by my description. He's a very dark brown all over, lighter towards his head. He has orange-red saddles with thin black lines around them. Like I said, everything is lighter towards his head. See, the problem is, I can't quite find a pic that really looks like him. Anyone have any idea? I THINK he's just a normal, but most of them seem much lighter than my Kaa...

Kisatchie possibly?.

Or maybe Cinder?

Hard to say without a photo (What colour socks am i wearing?. ;) )

Take a look here and see if anything matches up.

(They're blue and black striped, By the way. Very Nice!.)

LOL! I know, I know; hopefully tomorrow I'll have that pic! I'll have to dig him out to eat tomorrow anyway, so might as well grab a few shots in the process. He looks most like the Abbotts Okeetee hatchling, but rather a bit darker. If he looks like that adult one when he's full grown, I think I'll be in heaven! What an absolutely AMAZING snake! SO beautiful! I didn't realize they changed colors so much from babies to adults. I'd be happy even if his current colors just lightened up a bit to show a little more contrast. He's a rel beauty already.

Well what you need to remember is that looking at morph pics is only a generalzation, hidden hets, different localities and just different parents can make tons of snakes the same morph that look completely different.
Chances are it is just a normal if you got it from a petstore, but we'll be able to better determine with the pictures when you get them.

Edit: also Aj, if it was a cinder I'd eat my hat lol

I'm kind of figuring he's just a normal, but even so I think he's beautiful and I'll be happy with him no matter what. I thought he was a normal in the first place, but he just really doesn't look anhything like the ones I've seen...

Baby Normals are very dark - they lighten up and develop the more brown/orange colours as they grow.

Yours certainly sounds like a standard Normal hatchling, but pics are always welcome :)

Well, I took a better look at him last night since he was cruising his cage when I went to bed. He is dark, but it's his saddles that are very dark. His background is more of a burnt siena.

Still sounding pretty Normal-ish - they come in a range of shades of brown/orange. Really need a pic at this stage!

OK, just got to finagle the camera off my Mother; should have it before tonight. Sorry, I was going to wait till I had the pic to ask, but couldn't resist.

Asking what kind of snake you have without showing us pictures of the animal would be a lot like me asking you to tell me what color do you think my eyes are....

Pics, please. That is the ONLY way to get a helpful answer.

Alright, pics will have to wait until Kaa has digested now. My Mom didn't get the camera to me in time and I wanted him to stay on his schedule. and now I can't disturb him. I'm going to try to get a good shot Sunday if he is up to it.

Well my snake fits the same exzact discription as yours... and he's an Otackee, a normal version. Well you post your pic I will be able to discover what your morph's name is, probably anyway...

I think he meant Okeetee, ;). Be nice, guys, not everybody can spell at 13, and not everyone stops to check their spelling, or knows what the spelling really is. On the other hand, maybe we have a new morph of our own, LOL. And thanks Cody, I'm sure we'll be able to figure it out when I get that pic up!

Finally have pics!!!!!!!

OK, so the pics are here, and they are just AWFUL!!!!! He was so quick and squiggly, and I am so inexperienced with a camera... Hopefully, you can use them. If not, I'll be trying again. There will be more pics of him in the photo gallery if you want to see more.
