that squrimy guy is Isidro, my friends Okeetee. I take full credit for getting him addicted.
: D

lol  it's fun to get friends addicted to good things like snakes and frogs and whatnot :)

Preettee Okeetee! ;)

So it looks like the colors really come out and burst with age. Is this pretty normal with Okeetee's? Is it the same for reverse Okeetees?

Also I notice a LOT of snakes for sale that claim to be Kathy Loves breed lines. Is there any kind of registry to track corns lines? If not I am sure a lot of people around my area are just using Kathy's good reputation to sell there snakes?

Thanks all for answering my silly questions!
Bill

The reason okeetees really 'pop' as they grow is due to the orange pigment coming in. An RO can get orangy-er as it grows, but it's white borders won't really improve with age, so it *needs* to have awesome borders as a young'un.

As a matter of fact, there is, but a decent amount of people don't take the time to register their breeding stock. www.herpregistry.com/acr/ Check it out. :)

I've been waiting for Hickory to shed since I first saw this thread. Now that that's happened, I can show you her progress.

Here she is at 2-3 weeks (MegF's photo):
