I am officially a BOA owner now!

What addiction?!
Well when you go to shows it's so hard to come home with out some thing new. Especially when you're a vender so you are there all day. I don't typically buy much though. Most of what I get comes in trading off one thing for another. This time I made a trade for these two Nic Boas. I let go one of my Kisatchie females. Kind of sad to let her go. But I really wanted a boa that was on the smaller side and I did get a 2 for 1 deal. Never have dealt with boas they make me a little nervous. We were told if we hold them a lot they will get used to it and not be very nippy. The hubby was the brave one holding them first just to see how nippy they might be already. To be honest they were both very calm and easy to handle. So here they are. I will try to get better pics maybe next week some time.

Very, very nice Becky! You are hooked now. All it takes is one and it is all over. Great snakes. They show the typical dark coloration of Nics. What I like about the darker Boas is when you take them outside in the sun how much irredescents the snake exhibits.
Jay

Hey! Thanks! Hows that pewter girl? It was fun getting to talk to you at the show. Hope we get to see you at the June show. :)

Poor thang! I was at work longer than I expected and then when I got home it took me awhile to get her new home set up. I snapped a couple of shots, but none did her any justice, so I'll wait until feeding time to try for a couple of more.

She's currently hiding or buried beneath a "tree" in her new home.

And it was great to meet you :) I'm glad that Dragon finally told me who you were :D

Oh no... you have entered the deepest darkest depth of snake keeping. Boas are just the epitomy of a snake and well, I am absolutly hooked!

Tula's right, boas'll slither right on into your heart...=)

Those are lovely Nics! I'd love to have a Nic in my collection...*sigh*

Thanks to every one for the nice comments.

Quick question--I have searched the internet and Im not having much luck finding good care sheets and information such as temperament, etc. Any one have any good places for me to look?
