A boa for each season...

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
I have decided Blythe (CB Candoia paulsoni tasmai) is my Autumn boa, just because dead leaves compliment her subtle rusty and grey colouration so well.

Shes a pudgy wee lass now... I can't wait till she chunks up some more :) I think shes my favorite boa to photograph as she moves so slowly and deliboratley. It only took about 15 mins to get a handful of decent shots.

Awww she is beautiful. I love her pattern and the colors. I can see why you like to take pics of her. :)

Thanks! I'm still in awe over her, for such a small boa she has such a powerful appearance. Her shape is so sharp and defined, she looks mean but shes a total sweetheart :)

I guess she's ok... if you like that sort of thing... :grin01:

But seriously-- I'm about as "in love" with this gal as a boy can be with a snake he doesn't already own. She's superb, and even more than the sunbeams, I'd have to say that ownership of a similar snake is more of a matter of "when" than "if" for me. I can't even define it 100%. I like all of the Candoia that I've seen, but she's something special. I'd need photos from a potential seller to make sure that their stock compared with her...

If you ever feel you're "overexposing" her in the regular forum, you're welcome to post a zillion pics in my private forum...

Heh by those photos you could never tell shes a worm ;-)

But in all seriousness she looks AMAZING! Sooo adorable!

I'm surprised to hear she moves slow. Considering she would be near the bottom of the food chain in the wild I would expect her to be a little flighty, no?

When are you getting her a boyfriend? :)

Wow Elle! She's a beauty! I love how her coloring blends right into her eyes.

Good thing you live across the pond.........:grabbit:

Thanks Brian. Shes not so much wormy, just tiny. But shes chunky and has the fearless attitude of a retic LOL

She's gorgeous and I absolutely love her pattern. You know how partial I am to the zigzag look!!

Ain't the ziggy zaggy's cool? Thanks Meg, but I don't think you can incorporate baby Blythe into your okeetee zig zag stock LOL

Thanks Danny.. I love the fact she has gecko eyes and not snake eyes.
