Anery A Bloodred Pics?

Could you all please post pics (or direct me to pics) of anery bloodreds? I have a female anery bloodred that was sold to us as anery A not anery B. She has no yellow on her at all and is extremely dark, approching black. This year I bred her to our Lava Male. This will be her first clutch, which should be coming soon. Anyway, I have been unable to find any pics of anery A bloodreds that resemble her. Most tend to have yellow chins. I will try to get some pics of her tonight. Hopefully she will be on eggs when I get home from work. Thanks so much.

Take care,
Jeff Port

No, she is not in shed. We have raised her from a baby. And yes, she is a blood. As I said, I will try to get pics tonight. Thanks.

Take care,
Jeff

Kimbyra, thanks for you input. Becky, thanks for the photos. I will have to check my records, but I believe our girl is an 05 or possibly an 04. She is quite a bit darker than the ones you posted and has diffused a good amount. Looking forward to her eggs. I see you are IL too, where exactly? I am in Peoria.

Take care,
Jeff

Your girl just may be one of the darker versions of a granite. Some anery are very black where as others are almost light grey.

We are south of you, near Carbondale.

Becky, yeah this girl is definitely dark. Hoping for her to be almost solid black some day.

Invictus, what do you mean as far as the eye color? Are the Pewters black with gray irises and the anery A bloods all black?

Here are a few pics of the female. Let me know what you think. Sorry for the poor quality. Just shot these rather quickly. Thanks.

Take care,
Jeff

This is "Mystery", who I purchased as a very underweight "black bloodred". Assuming she is an anery A bloodred, but testing will have to prove that out. She's also darker than other snakes of the same morph I've seen, including a male I have who is very light, almost pinkish. (See my thread on her in my forum "Lynnea's Snakesphere" to learn her story.)

Lynnea, I've said this before and I'll say it again, Mystery is gorgeous! She's so different looking. Love it!

Other way around - charcoals (and thus pewters) have almost pure black eyes.

I took a few photos of this anery diffuse before I sent her on up to Joejr14. She's probably very similar to yours...dark and minimal yellow. I have a reverse trio of her babies as the stud fee.

This is an adult male that is lighter in color and has more yellow. One of the things I love about anerys is the variation that can be seen.

Beautiful, Susan!

Here's a photo of Keichi, an '06 bloodred anery to show yet another variation.

Susan,
Thanks for the photos. Yes, that dark one is very similar to mine, although mine is much more diffused and a little darker. Will try to get some better photos.

Lynea,
Is Keichi a ghost bloodred or just any anery A bloodred? Seems awful light for an anery, but is quite stunning. Thanks for the photo. We just purchased a male anery blood from KJ that is very similar to that one except a little more pink.

Take care,
Jeff
