New viv!

Haha i wish my mom was more like you!! thanks again! and to explain my four snakes, my corn and python were supossed to be the only snakes in the house, but a week or two ago i went down to a nature reserve in bloomington and found a water snake and a garter snake and brought them both home! im going to give the water snake to jim (tricksterpup), as soon as i find him that is.. (he got out in my room somewhere! door was shut though so he's trapped in there somewhere) and i think im letting the garter go soon, i just wanted to keep him for a while. :)

Wow. Just be glad that your mom allows pets at all, or you might turn out like me. Wait. I guess that's not such a bad thing. Ha ha.
Good luck finding the water snake. I can't believe you find snakes around here. I really don't get out much. I'm twice your age and have still never seen a wild snake in my life.

LOL I am here. :)
It was a long day and I needed to git at after the meeting was wrapping up.
Have you tried feeding any of those snakes during this time?
Nothing neater that watching a garter fish around for minnows in a bowl.

by the way i cant find the real site but it does have an address on there so you can mapquest it if interested. :)

Thanks Rick. I'm in Hopkins, but am willing to drive for wilderness and animals and possible snakes. I don't get out of the house too much, but the one thing that really does encourage me is snakes. I prefer my snakes to most people. And they call some people "snakey," like it's a bad thing? Ha. I may just have to see if the daughter and the boyfriend person would like to take a trip down there this summer. Thanks so much, again.

Very cool cage idea! I might have my boyfriend build me about 7 of these and get rid of the fish tanks and tubs hahaha! I really like to see my Corns in their vivs. I think this cage would be awsome the tall way with the door in the front!

Again nice cage!

Is that a Heat Rock? I hear only bad things about them. I could be wrong, but from the pictures it looks like a plug wire coming from the rock...

Looks fantastic, sir! The light wood gives it a wonderful natural glow, and the hinge top is definitely my favorite.
Kudos!

I used to see snakes in Cherokee Marsh (WI), so there must be some types that can deal with the extreme weather!
