Neat grab Steve. Dont know what to say about the "split" scales on the belly, but those side markings are sweet, and looks like that color made it to around the top of the mouth. Real nice pickup :*)

Gorgeous! My little baby burm has a belly split like that from when he absorbed the egg contents. That could be it, but i could be wrong.

Thanks.
The color is around the mouth like a pastel has. I think the split is still there because it just recently hatched. I like the clear belly though. It's a plus IMO.
The sides are intensely colored.

Awww what a cutie! Nice grab!

I have read somewhere, not sure if this is correct or not, that split scales on the belly can be cause by temperature issues during incubation? Has anyone else heard this?
