Ball Python Feeding Schedule?

I was wondering if there is anything like the Munson Plan for BP's?

I know they are fed as babies every 5 days a prey item slightly larger than the widest part of their body.

Thank you.

There's no "Munson Plan" for BPs. I feed my bps once a week an item on average slightly larger then their widest part.

I have to agree and this is what I do with mine as well. I feed them about once a week, the little ones and the adults about every few weeks.

Thanks everyone. It sounds easier than some of the literature would make it seem:)

On a potentially unrelated note:
He was out almost all day yesterday not even really cruising around. Just laying acroos the front of his viv looking at us when we would come in and out of the room.
He is in a 20 gallon long with 3 hides AND a moist hide on aspen (we have the same size hides as the personj we bought him from-look too small to me but she assured me [and i trust her] that they like it snug)...so i don't think it was because he could not find anywhere to rest.

I thought he might be hungry (ate a f/t fuzzy on Friday) but he wasn't interested...and I was not planning on feeding him again until Wednesday.

I have read how they are secretive and don't expect to see them out until the lights go out.

His pits are clear...we took him out twice since we brought him home a week and a half ago and he struck when being handled both times...so he seems strong enough.
Do they just hang out sometimes?
