Hello

never owned a snake before but really want one, i can get one from my local pet shop but when i was in there talking to him. He said that the two small ones he had in are night feeders, they dont seem to eat the pinky's from a set of tongues.

I was always told dont but one if its a fussy eater, is this the sort of thing that will change or cause me any problems??? is this even fussy eating or is it normal?

thanks

Nik

I never hand-feed mine with tongs, so that would be normal.

I leave them with their food for however long it takes them to eat it. Some hatchlings will need to be left with food overnight, but usually they grow out of it once they get the hang of "eating=good"!

As mine are mainly active in the evenings or overnight, I feed in the evenings to fit in with them.

Night feeder is a bunch of Bull. Don't we have a breeder on the forum that lives near Liverpool? Come on you Brits, step up and help this chap, jolley good show, and all that rubbish.

I actually snort laughed when I read this.

Not a bad idea. The shop is going to sell you all kinds of stuff you don't need, like lights.
