this morning I was checkin my corns hides to see if he needed his heater on and when i took the hide i saw where he was but when i set it back down my corn quickly moved and he kinda got in the way ... I quickly picked it up touched him out of there and then set it down but today he was actin very scared of me and of course I know he would but he seems to be still active tonight I just wanted to know what would be the signs to look for if it was something serious and the signs that he will be ok

I struggled to read that because of the lack of punctuation.

Unless it's a hatchling, I doubt setting a hide down on him would cause any damage. Obviously it depends on the size of the snake and hide though.

Also, you should have your heater on a thermostat.

Broken bones - you might be able to feel irregular lumps or bumps on the backbone or ribs as he moves through your fingers. Also watch for signs of having trouble moving if it's more severe.

Internal organ damage - that's the sort of thing they're really good at hiding until it gets critical. Look for general signs like refusing feeds, change in behaviour (less or more active than usual, comes out when he usually hides etc). Also signs of discomfort when being handled, like tensing up if he's usually relaxed.

Chances are he'll be fine unless the hide was really heavy and you dropped it quite suddenly.

Signs of internal injury often include edema, contusion, loss of appetite, posterior paralysis or paresis, and sudden death. That's the main ones.

Unless you are using a brick for a hide box or slammed it down on your snake, it is probably OK.

Even then it's not something you would really notice. My daughter's snake has a lot of internal organ shut-down going on when she died and the only thing we saw was a dramatic weight loss and a long term refusal to eat. Our vet said that by the time you really can see anything, it's normally too late to do anything about it.
