Probing Tips?

its so hard to explain. With a male the probe goes deep and with the female far less so. when you reach the end of the sexual organs there's a king of 'bounce' as the probe touches the end of the passage. Its almost impossible to explain. Best bet... get some one to probe on of your snakes and tell you wheather its nale or female and then let you feel for that thud or bounce. Then probe a snake of the opposite sex and feel the difference. Depth of probe is species specific and I always feel that If the snake is so small it requires the use of the smallest probe in my kit its not worth the risk of probing at all as at this size I would worry about potential damage. I do probing as a service in my shop and have done it many times but tiny snakes are so risky.

I guess senility is setting in Steph. I read that and still it didn't click. Maybe I should go back to my once a day Geritol to get my mind straight. Better watch what I do or you might come by and kick my walker out from underneath me. Hell I am only 41 and I am already doing stuff like this.....
