Just wondering.... Are there any health issues for a snake that are directly related to viv temps that are much too hot? I'm talking about temps above 80F to about maybe 115F? Also, granted that there is a cool side for the snake to retreat to if it feels it's too hot.

So it sounded like you didn't know this wasn't good for a snake.
Then the last sentence makes it out like this is your set-up.

Wait a second, I thought temps above 80 were okay as long as they aren't extreme.
Mine is at 85 right now but drops to the 70s at night. Is the 86 alright?
