Kid Can Expo Pictures

Every year the Cape May Nature Center holds a Kid Can Expo. They have crafts, animals, food, nature walks, and other nature related educational things. It's a lot of fun and I look forward to it every year. This year I was sick so I wasn't as excited as I normally am but it was still very fun and I got to talk to people about my animals and also worked the touch tank for a bit. I even think I'm getting a new corn from that day, a lady asked me if I could take her normal corn and of course I said sure.

It wasn't as big of a turn out as normal because we had to hold it at a school instead of the convention center(was condemned and being rebuilt).

First picture is of my Albino Prairie King Snake who was grounded to stay in his tub because he bit the person in charge of handling him. The rest of the pictures are of my male Snow, Cream who is always an angel during educational events unlike the king, he won't be going to any more.

Looks like an awesome time. It would be cool if our nature center did something like that. I think there would be a good turnout for something like that.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Looks like you had fun!

Yes lots of fun (and stress lol).

It is a great time, the kids really love it. There are normally more animals but for some reason the State Park didn't come this year.

Wow! It looks like fun! I never went to anything like that when I was a kid!

Thanks for sharing your pictures!!

I never got to do anything like that either, and because these things weren't available to me is one reason I like doing it for kids now.

Wonderful pics, Katie. Very sweet to get to see the chilluns holding the snakes so proudly.

Thanks, the kids love the snakes. Unfortunately I only had one this year that was handable the rest were deep in blue.
