My Newest Addition, Houdini (DUW)

whatisntseen

What's This?
I went to a show this past weekend and picked this little guy up while fighting the urge to get a few other little guys. He's a motley het lavender that I named Houdini because he's an escapist! Hasn't gotten out of his enclosure (I'm a binder clip user), but I'm sure if he had the chance, he would.

Anyways, enjoy the shots of this little worm!

I threw a quarter for size comparison..

This is his humid hide, just a small plastic container I found at walmart for i think $.75. Cut a whole in the front or top, throw something in to hold moisture and you're set! I also put half a toilet paper roll in usually for security.

And his tub, simple and effective..

Aren't those tubs great? (the big ones, that is)
I really love his sides! He's such a pretty boy.

They really are! I have three of them... only one is filed, but I have a nice hypolavmot coming in a week that will fill another. I'm going to be building a rack either this weekend or next, so I have to figure out if I want to buy another to fill the final slot or get a 41qt and either get another boa or move one of my others to the rack.
His sides were pretty much his selling point for me. I could've grabbed a caramel het amber, but there was a silver lining on this one! I couldn't help myself!

Hey congrats on the beautiful new addition to your family! He is gorgous and I like his setup :) Cute name.. [/QUOTE
Thank you :) I think this is one of the few times I've named a snake and the name seems to fit it.. and he's really sweet once he stops trying to run.

Thank you everyone :)

I'll have to feed him again tomorrow so I'll try and get some shots of him outside assuming the weather is nice.
