the trouble is that background color is all but impossible to eliminate! And it's so variable how it expresses itself over time. All the babies I produce generally look like screamer white backgrounds with red blotching. But that can change. And the ones that have NO yellow or orange in the background can get it later on and look like nice reverse okeetees. Others, that start out with some orange, never gain any either and look awesome as adults. But yeah, usually the ones that start out with the least end up with the least. But I'm just saying, it isn't always necessarily so!
My two girls look HUGE with eggs. I just hope they are fertile! I'm not sure when I'm going to release any of the babies for sale. I usually wait till Tinley in October to sell. And this year I want to hold a number back to raise up and then make my selection for breeding NEXT year. Hoping a years worth of growth will show me who the real candies are...
