What is the "unbiased media?"

Is it Fox News or MSNBC? NYT or NYP? Maddow or Hannity?

"Unbiased Media" is an oxymoron. One really needs to view/read/listen to all of them and hope that the truth can be unraveled.

The interesting thing about this is MSNBC is doing a disservice to the real issue with this story: That carrying a gun to a protest rally is an intimidation tactic. People can use all the second amendment smokescreen they want, in a debate where tensions run high and people are getting very angry and there have been countless death threats leveled against the president and the politicians supporting the bill, carrying a gun around has a clear message.

And before everyone gets too crazy with that second amendment, there are lots of places where it is suspended for public safety.

I understand that, Nova_C... My problem is, where is this media when people where threatening others at the voting polls? Note that these guys were not prosecuted, but did the media make a stink about that?

They're caught on FILM, but the media doesn't mention much about anything unless it "very seemingly" serves their AGENDA (anyone mention state run PRAVDA?).

Lots of truth here.....

For me I agree carrying a gun to the rally was over the top.
Of course the man was black and MSNBC wanted to drum up a story that didn't exist. Not mentioned as well was the man was not breaking any laws, it was legal to openly carry a firearm in his state. He also informed the powers that be ahead of time he would be there with his firearm. With the understanding he would need to leave upon the President's arrival.

The voting polls.....What a story there uh?

Black Panther members in full gear armed with clubs stating how its about time and how they wanted to crack any honky, white cracker etc.....no prosecution? And that is a crime? NO, NO, NO, no intimidation there? There is a clear message.

I agree completely. I'd been aware of the bias for a long time, but it became crazily apparent to me in the last presidential election cycle. After each debate, I'd go to msnbc.com and then foxnews.com, and I had to wonder if they were both reporting from alternate universes. And neither universe seemed to be the one WE'RE actually living in...
