I've always wanted to keep a simple American Toad. I've always found them fascinating in sort of a... "grassroots" kind of way. Reminds me of being a kid out herping and running wild. Great, healthy looking specimen!

Well, then, give the adorable toad a roach! (You did not mention the kisses. Do you still stock those?)

Crickets?? I do not keep those things in my house any more, they smelled and were to many problems. I keep roaches. Easier, smell less and are always breeding.

Seriously? That is one thing I could never feed ~points to self~ total roach phobia, right here, yep, that's me . . . runs screaming for the hills if I see one (which thankfully in Oregon we do not seem to have that many)

HAHA the person i bought my hognose from keeps roaches and when i was picking up my new hognose last wednesday i brought the girlfriend along and one crawled up her leg... she was not too thrilled... hahah

Cute toad by the way jim.. i kept one for like a month when i was like 10.. it died..
