What do I do with this girl ?????

Vinman

Vinman
I have the Hypo bloodred PH ; Anery A&B, lavender, Amel, Stripe. I dont know I want to keep her or sell her. She is a little too orange and pattrened for my taste, but she also is PH for a lot of genes. She is 30 inches long and is 2 years old. I know I will get a small % of red bloods out of her clutches. She has always be a back burner female for me. I have her brother who has a deeper color to him. I dont know if she is worth putting more time in her . The top pic is not her true color. she is not that deep. The last pic is het true color.

I guess I'd be willing to take her off your hands for you. There...now wasn't that easy? No need to thank me. ;)

Vin, it is posts like this that make me glad you don't like me (and would never sell to me).
She is GORGEOUS and I would be wayyyyyyyyy too tempted to get her otherwise.
We may dislike each other, but you do have some sweet animals.

Vin, she is lovely. I ~think~ I understand why she isn't high on your priority list, as I am beginning to get what you might be working toward. But I think she is lovely anyway.

I know it sounds stupid but with all the high pattrened and very orange bloods . I realy have a big distast for them . They are pretty but deciving. I realy thing Serp, Carol, were right we need to change the name to diffussed. Being a Bloodred Is red not bright orange. i know she is a nice looking animal but I have to judge her as a Hypo blood first. I get that. And I realize you are trying to achieve something with the bloods that isn't ~orange~ which she surely is. But it's a yummy orange.

her mom looks more reder and has better diffusing doesent she . I'm so low on bloodred females.

I like them both! Almost all the Hypo Bloods I've seen have that orange/red coloration. I wonder which version would make the most colorful Hypo Plasma Stripe?

You are starting to read into my world. That is what I been thinking about all Multi bloodred morphs . Some might look best in a orange blood red Morph and some in the red blood red morph.

Yes, I think I get what you are saying. The dark dark red might be good for some morphs and the rich red orange in others. Maybe this girl is supposed to be the basis of a red orange line not a failed dark red?

This thread is not at all what I was expecting.

Also, what's up with wearing "gloves" while handling snakes? Is there some sort of health concern here that I'm unaware of?

No health concern. 'Pussy gloves'

Actually, Vinny DOES use them for health concerns...the health of his snakes. With the use of the gloves, he dramatically decreases the chances of transferring an illness from one snake to another. He had an issue many years ago and is now very cautious. Next time, think before you post about what you know nothing about.

Health concern is extremely rare if you properly wash your hands. I realize that many use gloves for this reason, I just didn't agree that this was a valid reason. I was posting assuming that washing your hands between handling different snakes would take the same amount of time as changing gloves. This led me to post the only reason I thought was valid, which is that most of handlers that use gloves, use them out of some sort of fear. Upon further thinking though it probably would be faster to change gloves, depending on what you're doing and location of sink. It's hilarious to say an incomplete post means someone knows nothing about the issue. Anyways, apologies for not clarifying ;)

No wrong washing you hands kills all the non harmful stuff off your hands. there are also eggs that can stick to hands. I have friends that are microbiologist. One is my Friend Randy From AlahpdragonZ and My friend Tom Chang who works with infectious diseases for a GI government hospital.

Now if I had to wash my hands inbetween every cage they would be so chapped that they would harbor tons of microbs along with being so ruff. I handle wild corns, I have two collections in 2 different rooms. i also take care of bearded dragons and tropical and none tropical live barerrs. I also raise my own Daphnia . I dont take chances. I had crypto many many years ago

Well, you're wrong and uninformed. The scariest communicable disease with corns is cryptosporidium. Hand sanitizers don't do crap against that. Gloves are a better choice. Maybe you don't know as much as you think you do. Apologize, or keep quiet until you're better educated.
