New Additions!!! Dang Reptile shows..

Mine are locality specimens, normally marked, but they just of the Colombian variety. They get confused for Surinames or BCCxBCI crosses because their tails are bright, and they have clean markings. But they are in fact, pure colombians. My "true" red tail I want to own is an Iquitos Peruvian.

I wouldn't mind having a Peruvian either. Just Surinams caught my eye first. So its just a really pretty BCI Colombian? Thats awesome!

love the caulker cay, one of my favorite localities...oh what am I saying they're all great!

:) Thanks! Sorry I got another snake on your want list.. Lol

Lol, same here! There are so many locality ones I want super bad.. Like the Crawl Cays, Corn Islands, and I hope to get some pure Hog Islands as well.. I think thats all the ones that I really want. I want mainland boas too. But those are all the dwarf ones I want. Lol

Boa want list: Argentine Boa, Bolivian Silverback, and a Suriname. We have a Columbian right now and her is a great little guy... I'm just excited for him to be a big guy!

I never was too much into boa's until I discovered the island locality types. Crawl cay and corn isle are my fav's, followed closely by caulker cay. I think I probably have Elle to thank for introducing me to them, with the corn isle's.

Don't forget the Tarahumara Mountain boas!!!

Goregous Caulker Cay Boa! I have a pair and I adore them, I can't wait till they are old enough to breed. Congrats on your new additions.

LOL. That's exactly what I'm talking about... that "intelligent" and "calculating" look. :)

I DIDN'T even get to go to the local show today... ahhh... even the best laid plans. I had hoped to get to look at some Florida Kings and maybe even a smaller boa.... Oh, well...

Well Fred, I haven't read my book yet. But I did do some research online. From Rio Bravo Reptiles, which the pair Hallie and I got are of his line, he says that they can breed at just over 40 inches in length. His older breeders range from 4.5 to 5.5 feet. So if you ask me.. Thats perfect size. Lol

Nice List. Lol, my list is way way way to extensive to type out. :)

Elle's always at fault. I agree some of her boas just made me want to look at them all day long. Now that I found where I can buy them at, I'm super excited.

Thanks! I plan to breed her maybe late on down the line! Do you have any pictures of yours on here. I'd love to look at them! :)

I'm jealous of your awesome-ness. I bow down. Thanks for helping me pick out my new little love!
