I just took some pics of the babies to update their progression threads. The photos didn't turn out though in the crappy house lighting. I'm gonna wait til tomorrow and get some in the natural daylight. Lol. I do know that Gauge seems to be pushing 2 feet and the corns look to be at LEAST 3 FEET!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!

Hey doll! I've just been super busys lately. :S One word.. midterms. ugh.

Anyways. The babies are doing super. The boy is being the boy. lol. But he's having knee surgery at the end of the month. Our dog Beast is getting spayed around the same time, so there's lots of fun things going on right before Easter.

Today was my boy's birthday so we went to Red Lobster and got some yummy food. Then I took him out shopping to get him some presents. He got some shirts, a few pairs of boxers, and some other things. I got him a beer mug so he can have a special glass for his stuff. :P Lol. Overall a very happy day.

I wish it would warm up already, I'm sick of the cold. I'm not up to much. The boy's birthday is today and I'm taking him out for dinner and shopping. I built my boa a cage on Monday it's airing out in the other room. Too potent with fumes for housing yet. Lol. What about you? We go a day or two without talking and it feels like YEARS! >.<

I know my buddy Kyle (ForkedTung) has a page to show how to force feed pinky tails. It seems to work really well. I don't have a link but It shouldn't be too hard to find.

I totally wish we had a break of sometime. A day off from work (I work on campus) or a class cancellation would do wonders for me. I'm starting to get worn down from such a large workload. Lol. Congrats on your anniversary! Ours isn't until next September. I miss surfing and stuff. >.<

Have you tried rubbing stuff like pig's blood on the pinky? I think I've heard somewhere that the smell and stuff may make their feeding mechanism kick into gear. If all else fails you can try force feeding. I would hate to have to do that though.

I don't know what we are doing for V-Day. Probably end up chilling at home doing homework. Lol. The boy's birthday is this Wednesday so I will probably wait and take him to this German restaurant he has always wanted to go to as a surprise. Any fun plans you got going on? Maybe for V-Day I should come see you and get a break from this weather.

I haven't had a haircut in over a year. The ends were all dead and stuffs so I wanted to trim it up and everything. My hair is super d duper thick and really heavy, it's even worse when it's wet. Just kinda got tired of it being so long and unmanageable. Don't worry my hair grows really really fast, like almost an inch a month. I cut off about 6 or 8 inches so by summer it will be long and ridiculous again. Lol. Think maybe I should go back to my normal hair color? We would be twins then!

How's your little guy doin? Has he eaten for you yet? I hope he is doing well. I can't wait to see pictures!! Hope you're doing well too. This weather is a total biotch. We have snow up to my waist and they are forecasting more than 8" more with snow storms for the next week. How things lookin' down there? More and more a nice warm place is looking more appealing. Lol.

LEAVING FOR THE SHOW IN AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!!!!!!! OMG I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!! LOL.

The one in Cleveland is once a month, which is really nice because if i ever need mice or something i can run right over and stock up. Definitely wanna build a rack once I have enough snakes to fill one. Give it til the end of this year maybe? Lol. I have enough tanks laying around it wouldn't make sense to have a hatchling rack until I start breeding either. When the time is right I will probably make a display case or a rack for them and a rack for the hatchlings when I start breeding too. I like the tanks better anyways cuz I can watch them cruise around too.

2 more days til the show!!!!!! Omg I'm so excited. I know it's gonna be hard to pick just one snake for my birthday present. They are like potato chips ya know? >.< I have a list of ideas for what I want and the one that fits best I will choose. You ever get that feeling when you get a new pet when they just feel right for you, like it was meant to be yours? I love finding "the one". Maybe a Hog Island, Reverse Okeetee, Amel Stripe, Ghost Stripe/Motley, Lavender, Abbott Okeetee, or an Ice. Who knows, I might find something totally unexpected and stuff. I just want it to be Sunday already. I have absolutely zero patience. Lol.

There's two reptile shows that happen near me. One is about 30 minutes away but is really really small. It doesn't get enough tables so they can't afford to do the show sometimes so it will not always happen. The other one is about an hour, give or take, away from me but it is huge. It's in Cleveland so most of northeast Ohio goes to it. Great selection too.

It's totally awesome to have a breeder near you. My buddy Kyle is a breeder too. He lives about 35-40 minutes from me. He is always willing to give me a deal because he knows I will be at his house asap if he does. Lol. It's awesome to not have to pay double for a snake too because of shipping and stuff.

You could totally make a yearling rack out of tubs that are twice the size of a shoebox ones or something. Make like a 5 or 6 tub rack and put it in your closet. Could totally get away with that.

I would love to have a plasma. I love the nurple purples. Lol. One of these days I will get a lavender and start a breeding project with bloodred or snow. Good luck with getting one!!

Ah darn! Snow's one of those things it's nice to have once in a while, but once it's there you can't wait to get rid of it. Lol. How things going for ya? It's freezing here, can't be outside for more than 10 minutes uncovered cuz your skin will start to burn. The wind cuts right through ya. Totally looking forward to walking in that to school starting Tuesday. >.<

There's a reptile show this Sunday and I'm going to get the babies some hoppers, their first ones! Also since my birthday is coming up AJ says we can look around and see if something intrigues me. I wanna Hog Island but we will see.
