  • Dude, that sucks! My 360 just got the RROD a few weeks ago. I sent it in to Microsoft and even though the "warranty" had expired about a year and a half ago, they just sent me a new 360. You need to get one so we can play some games and actually talk.
Hey Fred I wanted to call you tonight but can't find your # in my inbox? I think I need it again.
I can't believe it! I thought I already had you on my "friends" list! Well, hopefully you accept?

    Wayne
Hey, thanks! Everyone on these forums are just so easy to get along with. I'm diggin' it!
Great, prayers for Brandon make me feel better than just praying for "Fred's nephew", although I'm sure God knows who I'm talking about.
Wow... I'm glad they lived so that you could sell them. A/C unit? You'd think they'd AVOID that since it IS cold. LOL.

Super Dwarf Reticulated Pythons... I'll have to look them up! I saw some really nice regular retics online the other day... WOW! Really beautiful specimens.

Well, my friend, Oren... it is almost 1:00 AM here... I've gotta hit the sack. Thanks for the friendly banter! Take care and see ya around.
Oi yeah, that sounds kind of bad.
Well, if it's any consolation, the GTP I used to own( I sold her. I got tired of the concept of a mean fragile snake you had to be extra careful with- granted, she was a Biak)... she managed to escape and I found her in the AC unit, really inside.
    That could have ended badly.
I had the same incident with a BP that hid in the AC for 3 whole months- God knows how he didn't get electrocuted. He was sold too... erm, I don't have much luck or liking to pythons. Save one, my friend recently got quite a batch of Super Dwarf Reticulated pythons... man, these things are AMAZING. And they only reach 5-6 feet, which is sweeeet.
Problem is that they are -way- too intelligent for snakes :p
    Thanks, Oren!

I'm glad to hear that he's well... in his own odd way. All I do know is that I better have Luna puppy dog tame before she gets 4 feet long! LOL.

Pink... That does seem odd. Orange scales... my previous LTR (which passed in that dreadful A/C disaster a couple years ago) had some orange scales too... One in the middle of his back and another one further down his tail... close to his vent. I got him from Don Soderberg. GREAT snake although I had a TOUGH time getting him to eat anything bigger than a fuzzy. He just wouldn't do it.

Just be glad I don't have Shelgon here. One of my snakes accidentally got his tongue stuck on some duct tape. LOL. I got it off without hurting him (he BARELY got it stuck), but looking back, I can see how disasterous that could have been!
    Of -course- I remember.
    For two main reasons:
    1- I like you, you're a good, positive person
2- You have a beautiful snake, I tend to remember snakes I like :)

Shalgon is an oddity though. Yes he is perfectly healthy and eating. I can't however not feel a slight pity for him.
Beyond the fact that he is cross eyed, has some orange scales and sometimes he has a pink hue (I kid you not, he becomes pink) he also seems slightly disoriented because of his eyes. He also poops more frequently and in smaller doses. I think this has a lot to do with the surgery in which they -had- to remove dead intestine tissue...
He is plenty big... easily 4 feet or so... and quite thick for a colubrid. Ah, he also has this weird thing with his tongue... when he smells with it, he seems to flick it for longer than usual periods of times(compared to other snakes) and at times, it's like one of the two tips of his tongue get stuck outside his mouth even though the whole tongue retreated.

He is a very special snake... for better or worse. I love him, I went through quite a bit to make sure he is healthy and well...
I hope he is happy, in his own odd way :)
Hmmm, that's so odd. My own LTR is a total doll. What I do, and maybe it helps... is "teach them" that the more they hiss, the more likely I am to keep annoying them.
If they hiss, I purposely put my hand on their heads and gently nudge them- That's what I do with my two hissy boas.
I was never bitten though... well, yesterday I was, but that's cause my hand smelled of mice in the face of a hungry boa- smart move eh? But it's just a baby so... nonsense.

With the LTR... the more she will grow, the calmer she will get.
No reason to give up on her...

Though I admit people are astounded with how docile Shalgon is. My friend is accusing me of slipping Valium into his water dish
Dude, I am a huge RPG gamer! I have never played any of the Wild Arms though. I need to get me a PSP!

    Have a great day, man!
