Got these two off CL yeterday, not sure what the morphs are....I'm pretty sure the girl is a hypo, and the male is either a ghost or anery. He is very peachy. Today they locked up....so the 2010 breeding eason is officially underway!

well....I'm not sure anyone can ever be 100% sure of the "purity" of their corn. That said, I cant wait to see what hatches!

I am a little concerned that you got them Friday then let them breed on Saturday. No adjustment period? By the by, congrats and good luck!

Nanci, yes, they were all raised together....hoping for some common hets....we'll see.

carnivorouszoo....these snakes are from a legit breeder, I saw their former housing...and didnt feel they needed any "adjustment" period. Other than being a little on the heavy side, they are doing just fine.

I meant no offense, its just newbies might pop on see that and think they can go get a pair and just breed em right off. I also just noticed that YOU are not a newbie, so I am sure you know what you are doing. Again I was just concerned for the snakes, and what new folks might take from it.

They are lovely though!

No offense taken. No, I'm not quite a newbie. I wouldn't have even thought of putting them together if i wasn't confident that they were healthy and ready to breed.

I do see your point though, so for any newbies reading this, keep in mind that I have been breeding corns for 4 years now...

Thanks for taking that so well. Especially since I, myself am a newbie. I'm like a sponge hooked up to a microscope. I soak up and analyze EVERYTHING lol! So I forget that I have not been at pretty much anything for very long. I learn very fast and honestly I researched for a year before getting the first of my now 8 snakes. I wish I had a pair like yours to work with this year. For now I have an amel I got possibly gravid or ovulating. I do have a male for her if she is not gravid. PLEASE let us know when you have pippies!
