I am no lady but I cried like a baby.. When I saw Steve's father do his speech I lost my cool. That was really heartbreaking.

The strength that girl has is unmatchable, I had to read at my grandads funeral last year and I could barely say a word, how she has done it I do not know, Steve would be so proud of her.
I to saw the interview with his dad and that cut me up well bad but nothing like this did.
Its clear to see whos going to try and replace Steve, Bindi, and lets hope that young bob can to, for him it must be all a bit confusing with being so young.

My thoughts and prayers are with Steves whole family, RIP steve.

A touching video, and the video under it entiled For Terri was extremely touching.
Thanks for the link.

Like father, like daughter. I saw it when it happened, but it deserved watching again and again. She's an amazing young lady.

Thanks for posting this.

There are so many people out that that don't truly understand what it was that Steve was trying to do. There were so many people that were introduced to reptiles and other Exotic animals because of him, and his documentaries only helped to bring about more understanding on endangered species around the world. His work was done not for personal gain, but for the good of the animal kingdom. I know that I will miss seeing new specials on animals that he would have completed, but I am sure that his family will continue what he has started. And, hearing that speech from Bindi, I know that his legacy will never fade.

Rest in Peace Steve and know that most of the world will mourn your loss, but we have also learned so much from you. Thanks for all that you have done.

I had the opportunity to watch this on television, but turned my set off instead. I simply didn't think I could handle it. I wish to thank you for posting this here so that at some future time, I may come back to see it. However, now is not that time. I'm having enough trouble seeing through my tears to type as it is.

Has the interview with his dad been posted yet??

It amazes me that little 8 year old Bindi has more poise than most people my age when it comes to dealing with this death. Just amazing.

I really do not hope it has just not yet fallen into that girl.....

To be honest, Bindi's speech did not pull my tears, though she is an amazing girl, but the video 'For Teri' did.... man, if that guy was not incorruptible, unselfish and real then something or someone may come and take my snakes from me immediately!

Interview on 20/20 Friday.

Just so everyone knows, Terri's interview will be on 20/20 this Friday.
Thank you for the link.
Later, Gator

Terri Interview and Bindi

I am a 214lb security guard who works rough neighbourhoods seen people dead, broken, crying and in general the worst state of affairs. It's my job to arrest or turn these people away or call the authorities to scoop up the remains. Why am I telling you this so that you understand that listening to Terris interview left me in tears. I am not a soft touch but I can't rap my head around how she feels right now.

Bindi well if in 10 or 15 yrs we see see a new wildlife series hosted by a quirky beautiful blond Aussie girl talking about and interacting with Animals in thier habitiat I wouldn't be surprised.
