On mine (maybe the set up is similar on the s1) the 6th setting down when you hit FUNC. has a +/- with a lightning bolt, to make the flash less or more intense. For this shot I tried a few settings, about half way down worked best.

And... ya... I know, I should be ASHAMED of my past photo's, how could I have even posted those... I don't know how I can live with myself

Esp. the ones of poor Zen.... terrible shots... hmmmmm... right :)

I only have one snake that would hold still for a head shot like that...Raven is just stunning. I especially like her bright white and black jaws. I mean besides her perfect Okeeteeness. She looks so calm and gentle.

Wow, what a shot. Gorgeous Okeetee. I can't remember where you got her... SMR?
IIRC (and I rarely do), this was produced by Michelle Heart.

Beautiful photo. The digital (non-DSLR) camera manufacturer that develops a ringlight will have cornered the market for all us macro geeks. :)

jazz

Jazz does remember correctly, she was produced by Michelle (Devilznight), Raven is a hatchling from her stunning Okeetee "Gizmo"
(this is Michelles photo of Raven's momma, Gizmo, hopefully she doesnt mind me posting this photo, Gizmo is a STUNNING Okeetee)

I 'll even use my own sweater boxes and heat packs when I leave think of the money you'll save if I take em no more expensive rodents to buy LOL

Or hey just cut out the travel time and just ship them to me now Yule is coming after all and it would better than what you got me last year LOL

I so much like Raven!!!! Role model Okeetee!

I hoped my Leeloo would end up looking close to her but her borders are too thin.... now hope for the orange to get screaming, that is what she at least should do for me considering she had not been here without me
