These are all normals het amel motley or stripe. I did the breeding for a couple of reasons. 1. I had hoped to make fire stripe or motleys one day and my diffused was not a mot or stripe so I had to get the gene in there some how.
2. I wanted to test my Amel male for mot and stripe, turns out he carries neither.
3. I wanted to test the female for Amel. Sadly she did not have that.

My next breeding, if I decide to do it will be in 2012 and will be breeding my darkling to my Amel male for these reasons:

1. Test amel for anery.
2. Test the anery for amel
3. We are not sure if our anery is just that or a ghost, so I want a male to breed back to the darkling to test for that.

I no longer have my diffused, so I think Snow Stripes are my replacement goal for now.

@Blutengel -- because Kathy has been thru so much, including a storm throwing her incubating clutch on the floor & killing some of them, they are the worrisome hatchlings ! And, I think, because it was her first clutch ever.

Kathy, congrats! They look great!

Why are they worrisome again? I think I missed or forgot about that....

LOL you posted while I was writing, thus the DP. This is the clutch that 1, wasn't supposed to have happened; 2, got knocked to the floor by a microburst; and 3, last night two got half out and laid like they were dead. I sat watching them for 2 hours and never saw a breath. Then this morning those two were out and about, a couple hours later 3 more, then 2 more and the last two are still in egg. Including the one I believe has gray eyes. Such stressful creatures lol!

Oh yes, my very first clutch. Sometimes I think to myself they will be my only clutch but really I want a striped snow that I made! LOL. And butter stripe, I'm getting the male for that project next month.

Great that at least a couple have pipped in good health so far :)

I really am into 'making' what I like myself too!

Sure. I am thinking I am not keeping 3 of the girls for sure that have come out ok those would be Anon, Jazzy, and Athena. I really like Dandy and Kitara's head patterns and the fact that most of their saddles are connected to the side patterns kinda like they are banded or something. So is hades' pattern on one side but not on the other. Will definitely do progressions on Dandy and Kitara though. I need to get a new scale so I can get weights on these guys. Somebody says they look big, I think I just took good pics lol. They are smaller than a brand new no 2 pencil, lol!

Here are the last two! The first is sassy, because she kept trying to slap me with her tail! The second is Stryker because she kept close mouthed striking my hand, neck, shirt, anything she could reach!

What a goodlookin' bunch!!! Cute names too.
You see all that candling makes healthy babies!!!! lol

Hopefully you can breathe now!! I know I have a sigh of relieve seeing they are all out & healthy! What a journey!!!

Oh don't forget to add to your list of why this was a 'Worrisome bunch', you had to take them to a Hotel in a car so that your house was treated for pest & you lost your BloodRed! So it was very important that these babies made it!!!! :D

Thanks you guys :) Yeah, I try not to think of Red Rum, I had at least 2 projects that banked on him. I can not even think of replacing him until I get the money from the tax return next March (meaning from 2010's return). For now I am paying for a normal stripe het butter and I can't remember if its a lavender het hypo or hypo lav. Either way I get the hypo gene. Slowly but surely this little lady is building back her collection. I will let you guys know when they shed and eat. I will for sure have post shed pics. I hope they are not trouble eaters, their daddy isn't, and their mom wasn't. (add to the stress that Brass, the mom of these got loose at my friends and now they can't find her, the fact that she was in blue when it happened and we were both sure she was going to double clutch on us.) :*(

Jazzy, Athena and Hades have all shed and gave me a little poo. I have them in feed bins now and plan to leave them overnight. I am hoping that the fact it is raining will have a good effect on the attempt to feed. My fingers are crossed something fierce that they will eat.

Jazzy and Athena have successfully eaten! Hades has yet to touch his food. To keep the stress down I will leave all three tonight and put them back in their vivs in the morning. They are in a safe place and should be find til then. Pics when I put them away :)

As of right now 3 have shed, 2 have eaten and one refused. Jazzzy and Athena are the ones that ate and Hades is the one who refused. I think he wants a smaller feed bin, so in 3 days I will try again in a smaller feeding box, covered with a slit in the mouse.

I just found that Demetry, Kitara and Anon have shed, so I set them up in feeding boxes with their first pinks and will leave them until noon. I will take pics of their nice new shed skin when I put them back in their vivs.

I would have left them til noon, but my kids are hungry and the only safe place to feed my snakes is in the kitchen, sigh. Anon, Kitara and Demetry all refused and Kitara acted like the pink was going to kill her poor thing. Here are post shed pics of the three though.
