Okeetee Freak
Another beautiful here in Wisconsin. Grabbed the camera and walked the banks of a narrow creek. It was a good day.

First thing I came across was a common garter snake. I ended up seeing three of them.





Next was this female mallard. She had a nest nearby.





Finally the creme de la creme. A big old snapping turtle....and he wasn't too happy to see me.









..glad I decided not to sleep in...
 
I know I'm probably a bit of a freak... but I think snapping turtles are kind of cute :)
