Although I don't know what they are coming from , I think it is a selective bred ghost . The female is looking more blue compared to the male , but they are worth the name Silver BLUE Ghost :crazy02:

I am going to begin to question if it is simply a selectively bred ghost simply because I'm hatching out identically colored snakes from my own anery/ghost lines. I am also getting a family group containing 2 females of this color, also totally unrelated to my snakes. This is getting really weird! I don't have any adults of these yet, but I would like to know what you bred your female to and exactly how many of what morph hatched out from the clutch.

I bred 2 silverblueghosts to each other & all hatchlings look the same even some are motleystripe versions :crazy02:

They are perhaps a selectively bred Ghost, but they sure look similar to Blue Motleys to me. The only difference is the lack of pink coloration, and we all know, that the pink in Anerys can be an on/off occurrence. The pink it the Blue Motleys is why everybody want to make them Pastels, but take away the pink, and they would look extremely similar to these.

They could be Homo Hypo Anery and Motley, but they could also be Homo for Anery Motley and perhaps what is causing Susan’s Blued Steel Corns and the Blue Motleys. It is possible that a Hypo Blued, or Hypo Silver Blue Motley, may be mask, but it is possible that this “blued” effect could be seen in a Ghost as well.

Just because these Corns are located on the opposite side of the ocean, does not mean that they are not related in some way. Marc imports quite a few Corns from the States, which I know from personal experience, and so do many others in Europe. They all came from here at one time or another.

I attached some photos from Bayou Reptile who started the Blue Motleys over here, or at least was one of the first to sell them. The last one, has very little pink and looks the most similar to these.

Most amazing ghosts Joe!
Actually, I do not believe they are Ghost, but an Anery Motley with an unproven new gene causing the effect, but this has to be proven. I do remember Rob telling me that they produced some Ghost in the Blue clutches and sold them, but later got them back. They were much lighter and had a ton of pink.

The photos above are Bayou Reptiles Corns. I only have a pair of Blues at this time that they produced. When I was looking around for photos, I found the original photo in the ad where I bought my pair and I found a comparison photo with my Blue female compared to a Pastel Motley. The photos are lousy, but interesting. My female is in the comparison with the Pastel, if you check the head patterns. Those photos are the first two photos and the next photos are my Blue Motleys. The female is the last photo and has very little pink.

SILVER BLUE GHOST ; that's why I call them also like this and because they have some blue
They definitely do have some actual blue coloring and a diluted black color which is also called blue.

I just checked their web site, and they are calling them Anerythristic Motleys (Light Phase) now. I know they have taken a lot of heat for calling them Blue Motleys, which is a name that they didn’t even come up with, but seemed appropriate to them at the time. They have been trying to find something that people won’t be up in arms about ever since they first sold them.

I have always thought that a Dilute gene was the cause of the Blue Motleys. In all other animals, a Dilute gene changes black to a very unique shade of color they call “Blue“, such as Blue Healers or Blue Rats. Browns are changed to lavender, tan to yellow and grays are changed to a “pink” color, which looks like a light sorrel color to me.
