The Rule Of Thirds.
Of my collection of 19 corns, 7 of them are homozygous lavender (4 Lavs, 2 Opals, 1 Hypo Lav), 2 of them are heterozygous lavender (2 hypos), and 1 is a possible het lavender (a bloodred). That's over half of my collection, so it's pretty safe to conclude that I have a biiig thang for lavenders.
And of all my Lavs, this "freshly shed" dollface, Em (or, if you're bold enough, Emtarkanderundersgunderson) is in the top two. I used to not be a fan of pink/peach undertones in lavs, but she's made me a convert. She's an 05 from Frank Pinello, and like practically all of my yearlings, is downing two hoppers per feeding.
She'll also be part of the diffused lav/diffused hypo lav project.
She's got pretty much a "standard" head pattern, but I think the color and shading of it is da bomb.....
Her "bluff" pose.....she's as calm as a Steven Wright joke delivery....
Thanks for looking!
regards,
jazz
