'05 Lavender

This is my new boy Hendrix. I got him from the local pet store about 5 days ago. I got a chance for a photo op tonight when my sister's b/f was holding him.

Lovely lavender, strange for a pet store find huh!? Bet he was expensive.

Actually, I got him for $70... They had him labeled as a "melanistic" and I was like... hmmm. So I bought him lol. He's missing a tail tip though.

He's very sweet. The only thing I am worried about is I think he's only been fed live... so we'll see how feeding day goes *crosses fingers*

For the most part I've never had a problem switching from live to f/t. The only problem I had was my lavender female randomally stopped f/t for ~8 months (after being fed nothing but f/t for over a year since she was a hatchling) and only ate live for those months. I kept trying f/t and one day she finally started eating it again and has been fine ever since. Go figure. :shrugs:

Whew, glad to hear it. I should probably feed him later today, so we'll see. Thanks!
