Ps, these aren't fresh shed pics or anything.. They're "just because" pics. :)

Yay, it's my favorite!! Cottonmouth gets all the attention, but I think Copperhead is the prettiest, by far.

I must admit I've felt a little strange lately! Now I know why, I'm an oddball!
LOL!! :roflmao: They are great pics Jessicat! You know if you have trouble pairing him up,you can always send him here on a breeding loan, got several ladies to choose from. :shrugs:
I really have to quit selling you my favorites!

Both parents were Butter Motleys.

I wanted to get this thread posted before I left for Portland this weekend because I promised Tom an update. I guess didn't really take a whole lot of time arranging my words..

So, to anyone confused, Copperhead is the oddball. His parents are both Butter Motleys, so his genotype should be as well. However, this phenotype is Amel Motley? Het caramel?
Speculation has been possible sperm retaination. Someone also mentioned the possibility of one of his parents being a very light cream. Neither of them looked like creams though. Tom also mentioned they were a virgin pair before this I think.

I have a Hypo het Caramel and Amel female that I will be breeding him to this next year. I also have a Caramel Mot female (not het for amel) to prove him. That pairing will not take place for awhile though, Bayonet, my Caramel Mot is still pretty small.

After the Hypo if Bayonet's not ready perhaps we can arrange something, Tom!

PS: Nanci, thanks. I think they're both beautiful. Tom has some superb snakes. ;)
