raising his body while eating?

Batman Rules
Its certainly not a problem i'm just curious if anyone or everyone else's corn does this. When i feed him and he gets most of the mouse in his mouth he raise's the front half of his body and lets gravity help him out a bit. i'll try an get a pic if no one understands what i mean. Just curious if anyone else's does this?

I have so many snakes that do that. They hold their heads straight up, seeming to use gravity to swallow, but I am not sure if that is the reason. I think that it's just a posture that they will sometimes get them selves into. BUT, Maybe??? Who knows for sure?

Mine do that too but it seems to happen when they start eatting in that position to begin with. What I mean is when they snatch the mouse off the tongs sometimes they're already vertical so they just stay that way for a bit with the mouse. It's amusing to watch isn't it?

I don't know why they do it but I have several that DO do it. It scared me at first but now it's just comical to watch.

thats happened to me too.
my snakes also move their back side of their body a lot while they are eating
a large meal.

I like when they do it and have the mouse down but the tail is still out.Its a silly face Reminds me of a kid with a noodle hanging out of their mouths.

They are funny little ones! I have pics of a few of them in some really weird positions, eating. The funniest was my 0.1 Sunglow who laid on his back!

Here he is!

My wife, Christine, already posted these, but I thought I would share them again, anyway!

Mine constricts away then spends a fair while trying to figure out how to get at the head without moving its body off the mouse!

Both of my snakes let gravity help them out. I just fed them today and laughed at both of them. Sweetie is currently taking two pinkies and she will have her head up in the air as soon as she has a good grip on the pink's head. Mambo waits until just the feet and tail of her hopper are sticking out before lifting her head up. Too funny watching that tail disappear.

once in a while a couple of my snakes will do this. No one does it routinely, but I'll see it once in a while.
