What is this??

Tania

I just love cornsnakes
I bought this little guy yesterday. I bought him and 4 others ( a butter motley, 2 bloodreds from this year and a bloodred from last year) for only 100 dollars. He costed me 20 dollars.
So, I couldn't resist him because he was cheap AND handsome. I only have no clue of what he could be. Can you guys help me? His irises are really light and he has light gray borders round his saddles. His head and his diffusion told me he's a bloodred, but what kind of bloodred?

Thanks and greets
Tania

I have no idea, but he sure is cool. Is there such a thing as a candy cane bloodred???

Could be an ultramel blood or another type of hypo blood.. Either way, what a steal for the amount of diffusion that guys has, WOW!!!

With grey saddle borders, not really....

But I assume that if you bred Bloodred into Candycane lines you could create a line of Amel Diffused that had very poor diffusion and a pale background.

I saw the parents and the female is a blood and dad a bright normal or a blood too (I didn't saw the belly). I don't think the head is a piece of skin that is still attached, the bloodreds I bought from the same parents also have very little pattern on their heads.
I thought he was a hypo blood. I hope he will eat because he is still very little. I'll keep you guys updated.

No, I wasn't wondering if it was a piece of skin, just if the white colour faded away when wet, only to reappear once it dried a bit :)

Toyah, I gave him water today and his head stays white when it is wet.

Some new pics. They're not the best, but its an active little worm. :)
When I see the eyes, I think of hypo, but I have no experience with ultra or ultramel eyes. I also included a pic of the borders.
