He/she is absolutely stunning! Even pre shed was purty, but WOW, after is simply amazing. I love the colors on that Boa, and so healthy looking too. Very nice pictures, and thanks or sharing... Wow!
She is a BEAUTY, Oren! What a change! When I looked at the first pic, I was thinking how could it be more different? Then I saw the 2nd and 3rd pics and thought... "Oh, yeah!!"
Kudos to you for having such a beautiful girl!
No need to be jealous,
just go to a breeder near you to get your own Hogg IsleXColombian
Well, admittedly, Alon- the breeder from who I bought all of my Boas came by on Friday...
The Reptile room is situated in the room beside the living room.... after spending like 20 minutes inside, he every 5 minutes or so got up to look at her and another little 2009 baby Boa he sold me...
He decided that she is the best female he ever produced, and that the little guy (Phoenix) is insanely unique. He told me that had he known, these two would never have moved on...(not to mention that I pay like... 20-30% of what they are worth).
I keep telling him that at least they remained close and that he will naturally have easy access to babies in the future
Holy criminy, she's beautiful! Oh, how I would love to have a boa some day...do Hogg Island/Columbian crosses get as large as ordinary Columbians? I love Columbian boas but they get a bit too large for me.
Why not? spread the word brotha', Boas be jammin'
You can also go for the smaller sized Redtails such as a pure Hogg Isle or Corn Isle Boas...
Or skip to the Candoia's... I especially like the Candoia Aspera but I can't vouch for their temperament
I prefer the Redtail's overall appearance.
