Grey-Banded King Snake!

Hey everyone,

I've been taking pictures of the Corn Snakes recently (most of them at least), and decided to take advantage of my urge to photograph by taking out my Grey-Banded King Snake. His unofficial name is Phoenix (I never refer to him as Phoenix, but have always liked the name for him).

Also, just a thought... I think a non Corn Snake photo gallery would be a really neat idea. There may be good reason for not having one, so I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt by suggesting it, but, if possible, it seems like it would be a great idea ;).

Enjoy :)!

Curse you Micahel! I really wanted a Grey band but all the ones at the show today were crappy. I love yours and now I am jealous! Boo!
Thank you :D! I've had him for about three years, and absolutely love him to death. Docile really doesn't even come close to explaining his personality. He is almost lifeless to handle.
I want to find a female, eventually, but I haven't come across any that have really reeled me in like he did. I saw some really neat looking Alterna phase at the previous show, but I love the wide orange bands with thick black borders, and contrasting gray bands.

Good luck in your search, and even better luck tomorrow... GO RAVENS!!! (Had to throw the plug in :) ).

Very pretty! I think that is one of the best Grey Bandeds I have seen so far. Like the name too!

Thank you very much :)! The name seems fitting for multiple reasons. The Phoenix Suns have orange and gray uniforms, which remind me of him (not a Suns fan, though). Also, the orange is kind of fiery, and the gray is ashy colored, which reminds me of a Phoenix rising from the ashes.

I love him, he is goregous. I also like the name since he is grey then orange then grey and so on it reminds me of the story about the Phoenix (I know I'm odd lol).
