Landscape/Nature Shots (DUW)

I was rummaging through some old files, seeing what could be deleted and what should be saved and came upon my old Nature folder. I just thought I'd share a few of the better pictures, though they are by no means fantastic. These were taken several years ago when my grandmother was still alive and well enough to tend to her many gardens. I used my, then, new Canon Powershot and the recently discovered Macro function.

All pictures are taken from the same day during a summer in northern Louisiana.

Thanks so much for viewing! I'm very glad I was able to capture the beauty my grandmother could create before it was lost. Love you, Granny. RIP.

I adore the weee froggie pictures. That giant green bug is horrific. If one of those landed on me, it would go splat!

Awesome pics!! I had pics of a cicada breaking out of its egg while we watched, that was probably 15 years ago when my kids were small. It was the most awesome experience. I don't know what happened to the photo's, but I sure wish I had them now.
Thanks for sharing some awesome photos.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! These pictures really made me miss my grandmother. The farm will never be as beautiful as it once was, but at least I have these pictures to remember.
