Who can guess what these are.....

They look hypo to me... I'm trying to remember what all you have, hehe.

They look like too many things for me to take a serious guess, but my immediate gut reaction was "milk snake phase X crimson?"

The head patterns are probably a clue I'm overlooking...

Miami would also be my guess... I really like the one on the right. Nice large saddles on him.

My guess

Milksnake phase Motleys?

Can't wait to see them after they shed!

I like the one on the right!

Well you guys were all on the right line... They are a big confusing mess of Milksnake Phase x Motleys. Here is the deal, I am pretty confident the female is indeed a motley, she has a prefectly clean belly and motlely markings. I used a new Milksnake Phase x Motley Male with her. So far, out of the six babies I have seen, only two have perfectly patternless bellys. I still have nine more to emerge so I can't wait to get a final tally. My guess is the male is just het motley and my luck is just crap right now, after all, they are both het amel and I only got one amel out of fifteen. Then again, I remember that the guy I bought this male from said this male produced 100% motleys when crossed with a sunglow motley, even some fully striped motleys. So, I am wondering if he was telling the truth. Are none of them motleys and some have this weird patternless belly? Are they all motleys and still have belly checks? Are only the ones that have completely patternless bellys motleys? Could some be half and half? ARGG, no wonder Rich scrapped this project. ;) To give you an idea.... In the original pic, of the three, the hatchling with the stripe on it's neck is the only hatchling with a completely patternless belly. Now this makes sense, even though the one in the middle looks kinda motley, of all the snakes that is the only one that looks definately motley. But then something likes this pops out of the bunch.

Beautiful Babies

Any chance that Striped necked is for sale or any of the others for that matter? Let me know as I am interested. Again, very nice babies.

Take Care,
Jeff

Well, I think I already promised Clint first dibs, and I have one other person that has been waiting over a year for a pair. But if all the rest hatch out OK I should have a total count of 14 so there will be plenty to go around. (One died in the egg, it has slit its egg 2 days before any of the others, I noticed a small slit in the morning and by evening it had not gotten any bigger so I cut it open and the hatchling was drowned and tangled in it's umbilical cord, I don't know if the drowning cause the tangle or the tangle caused the drowning. But it was very striped and had a patternless belly). I swore I was not going to keep any of these, but there is an amel in the bunch that has only come out about 2 inches and all of those 2 inches are striped so I think I will keep that one and that is it. But who knows what the other 8 that are only revealing thier noses will look like!

Keep the pics coming...

Please keep me posted on their availability then, if there are any left that is, especially any partially striped. Thanks.

Take Care,
Jeff

Two more came out and they seem to have much darker color. I wonder if I do have hypo floating around in here too. There is a pretty huge color difference in some of these. One of these is a half checkered and one is a full checkered.

More Goodies

The more I see, the more I like. I definitely want a pair of these guys. Can't wait for a group shot. That Amel you plan on keeping sounds interesting.

Take Care,
Jeff
