'06 Baird's Rat: Byron

He's a Low Belly Reptiles product. Every shed brought huge changes when he was younger, then it leveled off. But within his last two sheds, his color really started intensifying again. I think he's a waaay cool snake.

Indeed waaaaaay cool :)
Love the grey/silver-ish tones.
Thanks. :) My female's much more gray/silver and has the distinct striped look. If you like silvery Bairdis, you should do a search for the ones owned by Angela (username = ratsncorns). Hers are some of the best silver ones I've seen. I like all varieties of Bairdis...

Here's a baby pic of Byron from the day he was delivered about 18 months ago. Quite a difference!

Wow, he's changed so much....doesnt look like the same snake! He is by far one of the most colourful bairds I've seen....lovely.

WOW didn't realize a snake could change so much, I love it, that is so cool how his scales look like they've been LITERALLY dipped in silver as apposed to grey looking scales, I likes him :)

He is very nice, Dean! I really love the Baird's; I have five right now, and just bought a 1.2 trio of metallic adults. The color changes they go through are striking. I will have to check out what Angela has as well.

Thanks for posting!

Kathy

Thanks Lynda and Mary. :)

Thanks Kathy. I'd love to see your group. I wish I had space to buy a bunch more, but I don't. Still, I can't see myself living without a pair of the solid metallic ones forever either. ;) Here's a pic of my female (Belinda):

I just love how much orange this guy has Dean! What a change from when you brought him home. I like how the female is the pretty much opposite from him. They are both very gorgeous.

Thanks for referencing my baird's. I love how dark mine are, but I also love to see how variable individuals are. I have yet to see any two alike!
