08 stock available?

Ok, still kinda new here. I'm looking to get a couple corns snakes in the near term and When I look at dealer websites, most say that the 08 stock is not available yet. Is there a general time frame that the 08 stock will be available?

Most folks 07 stock is sold out, or they don't have what I'm looking for.
 
Some have pippies that are Just coming out and others will have lots in the next couple months :) This is the time to keep your eyes open for what you want or put an ad up for certain type of snakes you are looking for :) Usually the breeders on here, if they dont have , they usually know someone who does :)

What are you looking for anyway ? :)
 
Here's what I'm looking for:
female blizzard
male amel het for anery B (blizzard)

Sexes are my preference, but in the grand scheme of thing it doesn't matter so It'd be OK if they were reversed. These are my two favorite morphs, and I'd like to maybe breed them in the future, when they are ready.
 
I havent seen too many having blizzard lately but maybe they just didnt post them yet?? but the other you shouldnt have any problems finding :)
 
I know Kathy Love has some '08s on her website, but you would have to check her website to see which morphs she has ready to go.
 
I think you'll be looking at end of June, possibly first of July before most people will start posting them. That gives them time to hatch out and get at least a couple of meals under their belts before the breeders offer them up for sale.
 
I am sure within the next 2-3 weeks will get to start seeing all kinds of pippies for sale :)

for me?? That is the Most DAngerious time for me to come in here LOL

I think it'll be longer than that... most of the pipping we've seen around here have been in So. Africa :) I know Dean has a clutch of Blizzards coming, but I don't believe they are due to hatch until the first week in June, which means it'll be the end of June at the earliest before he decides they are eating and ready to go.

Most of the excitement around here have been egg counting :)
 
hmmmmm well, my first clutch is due in about a month and I know some breeders (US) were talking about hook ups before mine did ?? Maybe was another forum? if so, sorry about that.

Are you planning on selling them straight out of the egg? A month for the eggs to lay is June... 7 days for the first shed, 5-7 days for the next feeding and possibly another 5-7 days for the next feed to make sure they eating solid... that's almost another three weeks that will be putting you the end of June the first of July.

I'm waiting not so patiently for some eggs to hatch, but I'm not going to get them any sooner than nature provides :)
 
First off, welcome to the forum! 2nd, over the next few months, it will be a breeze to find what you're looking for. Right now, most people's breeding season is in full swing. Eggs are starting to drop like crazy. Starting in June through the summer, you'll probably be able to find almost anything you're looking for. Good luck!

Last spring my total on snakes was 1.........by the end of the summer I had 4. :rofl:
 
I'm putting myself on lock down from this site come June. I won't look at any for sale ads or babies!!! I won't! Well... one look would not hurt would it?

Nah, one little look won't hurt..... and I have a bridge in Arizona to sell ya :D

Actually, some of us have a lot of willpower :) Took me seven years to get up to 6 and three of those have been this year and it's only April...sigh.... I know that I"ll probably be adding at least three more come July. :D

I just recently updated some potential prices on what I "should" be hatching out in the coming months. I say should because they're in the incubator, but don't want to tempt fate. Anyway, I should have some blizzards hatch out, but not the Amel het Charcoal. I'll have something the other way though with Charcoals het Amel. :shrugs: Either way, you can check out my 08 projects and For Sale page at my website which links through the banner in my sig below. If you're interested in anything you can email or PM me. I keep a list of names of stuff people are interested in and do my best to let them know when it hatches. I don't hold things for people unless they're paid for. :)
