I have an adult albino corn and 2 days ago I noticed he was now pink instead of orange. And today I noticed his eyes are a milky orange color. I was just wondering how much longer I can expect to wait for the shed to take place. I have a ball python that shed regularly but i didnt know if a corn takes about the same amount of time. thanks!

It's pretty relative to BP's...w/Corns the humidity is less important...it's still important, but not as essential as w/BPs....but ya as far as timing goes...after the "blue" goes away, which with your Albino..or Amel is the orange-milky color...any where from a couple of days to maybe a week...depends on the snake, but you are on the right track thinking they are similar to BPs...

hi there he will shed in about 7 10 days in a day or two his eyes will go back to a normal colour and about 5 to 7 days after that he will shed his old skin just make sure you dont feed him why he is in the shedding process and dont handle him just let him get on with it, hope this helps !!!

Do you like your corn's colors when he's in shed? Someone on here referred to an amel in blue as "strawberry ice cream phase." I think that fits! I always think my amel's pretty when she's in blue.

It sure is different. My daughter really likes his color right now. her favorite color is pink. She thinks he is a different snake. But me personaly, cant wait for the orange to come back. lol

I know what you mean about girls and pink snakes. When Yohsong was a baby she was pink and red, no orange or yellow showing until she was older. One of the other teachers at my high school has two young daughters. They'd run to my classroom every afternoon to see "the pink snake." They were sad when her pink was replaced by brighter colors!

keep an eye on your snake and see if you can catch it shedding. my wife saw it pretty quick last time. and my kids sat quiet ages watching it... just a little parent to parent tip. to get ya kid to be quiet hahahaha

It's funny, but two of mine nearly always shed in the middle of the day. The rest do it sometime at night. I wonder why...
