Oh I am so excited!!!

You should be!! Looks like this little one is going to be a lot of fun to watch progress and then prove out!!

Knowing that the parents are Serpenco, I would eat a RAT butt first if..
okay, you get the picture. ;D

Well, even if they are just Amels genotypically, they sure look amazing and different phenotypically.

Well even if you have to eat rat butt first... This clutch is definitely different and will be fun to watch grow up. Maybe we should start a thread for this clutch.

Unless her personality changes her name when I get her in my hot little hand. I am pretty sure that I will be calling her Mystery.

Ok I am having a hard time containing my excitement. Mystery just made it to Tempe AZ. So one more stop and she will be home. :crazy02: I didn't tell my husband that she is coming and I find it funny he watched me set up her home last night and didn't say a word. I told him about a week ago that I would be getting another snake so maybe he is assuming.

SHE IS HERE!!!!! :dancer: I thought I would try and get some pictures before I put her away but she is MAD. Striking and hissing. So in her house she went.

She is beautiful, pictures do not do her justice. Thank you Dave!

I got him this morning! Felt like giving the FedEx guy a piece of my mind!!! He left the box there and walked away before I even opened the door... someone could've stole the package...:argue:

But he came in great shape! Looks very beautiful and healthy. You did a great job Dave, he shed in the deli cup just like you said he would on the paper... He was also very angry and hissy (like mystery) didn't want to be held so I just left him alone after taking some pics :) Wish we could definitely make a thread for these lil guys! But I don't know which section should it be haha... here's Dusty :)

P.S. Under Fluorescent light he's pretty red too... his color is amazing! I see some traits of the Blizzard in him on his eyes and some scales

I did give the girls at fedex a piece of my mind. When I went to pick her up the lady in the back said "oh we just got that one" and throws the box to the girl at the counter. Then she proceeded to drop the box on the counter which then fell on the floor. I asked them at that point to please be easy. And she responded very nasty "well it needs to be packaged better than that if you are worried about it." I told her, "I have no doubt about the packaging but if you would do your job and read the box you would see that this contains a live animal and says handle with care." She started to argue and I just told her I would be happy to put her in a box and throw it around.

Poor babies.:(

Ugg gotta love handling IDIOTS. :D

I'm glad you ladies like them... start a thread in the pictures section and BOTH of you post pictures of your babies' progression in one thread. That would be really cool!

They should calm down with some handling. Once you get them into your hands and hold them for a few minutes they usually stop biting you. :D

PS, if one of you start a thread I'll add pictures of the girl I am keeping from the clutch too. :D

That's why they are so hard to photograph. To the naked eye they look YELLOW, to the camera, depending on lighting, they look all different colors.

My wife has given up worrying about me getting new snakes... it's just plain gonna happen. :D

I did, thank you. It looks like you were calling her Prudence by the sheet? I think that I like that name for her better.

She cracked me up cause she was striking before I got the lid off. So I held her for a little bit just as I thought she was calming down, she in slow motion bit me. Ha Ha She even drew a couple tiny blood drops out of me. I do have to say she is the first one to draw blood. I think it was just the manner that she bit me. She just reminded me of a little kid that is annoyed so resorted to biting. :nyah:

Hehe. At least you got the first bite out of the way!

Yes I was calling her Prudence. "Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play?" :D

Their sister that I am keeping I am calling Molly.

Her mom, Pink (like the rapper) still bites me to this day, hopefully your little gal will calm down.

They haven't eaten in a bit so they are probably hungry. It's up to you but I wouldn't bother waiting too long to feed her.

I saw that you had fed her about a week ago so I figured as long as she was calming down ok. I would feed her thursday then she would be on the same schedule as my other hatchlings. Make life a little easier for me.

Just throw it in there and he will eat it. I usually put him in his deli cup and leave the mouse in there with him. Come back 30 minutes later and it is gone.
