SMR SG Corn Snake "Rogue"
since Rogue's 24'' 's long i should be on fuzzes i guess... Is it ok to feed the snake egg's if i can find egg's that have been fertilized? I'm looking to try and make my snake BIG and strong :) any vitamin's that really work for snakes that i can buy? any advanced tricks for maken my snake stonger and longer??

also any advanced tips for maken his skin look really good and shine a lot

No you shouldn't feed your snake eggs. Feed a mouse that is one to one and a half times the snake's diameter, in width. Feed the snake once every five days, and do not handle the snake for 48 hours after you feed it. Snakes do not need vitamins or supplements. He'll grow fast enough!

Yes, I agree with everything she said. You have to be patient, don't worry he'll grow soon enough.

Also to add, that if you slit the mouse it has been shown to aid in quicker digestion. And I believe, faster/bigger growing snakes. Now I believe that's what it the data has said. If i am wrong someone please do correct me.

LOL Glock! You're a braver man than I am!

I guess most of all, I'd echo Nanci and counsel patience. A big and fast-growing Corn is not necessarily a healthy or long-lived Corn. Pushing them to grow faster than they would naturally, can stress their internal organs and also cause them to become obese. Fat snakes have the same kind of issues as a fat person, so just stick with the standard feeding regime and you'll get along fine.

He'll be grown up by the time he's three years old anyway - the time will fly by, just wait and see. You'll be wondering where your baby went!

Haha, I have a scalpel from bio lab.. I'm not about to cut those nasty things. I read that thread, most of it atleast. It makes them grow faster, but doesn't help with any nutritional issues, correct? If thats right, then I have no use in cutting them.

Oh it doesn't get any truer (I doubt that is a word). I was just looking back at pictures of my snakes when I got them a few days ago.. its amazing how big they've gotten in just a year and a half.. heck it feels like I just got them a couple months ago really.
