2nd Rack Is Complete!!

"Quality Before Quantity"
Hi everyone,
We have just finished making our second rack system for our up-coming babies. Wasn't too bad or too hard. We will be making a tutorial with a tool list, material list, pictures and all details involved in making it and posting it on our site for all of you to use if you would like. Took a total of about four hours from start to finish (taking my time to do a good job, measure twice, cut once). Best part of it all is they are STACKABLE!!!! I have them both connected to a ZooMed 1000 watt Pro rheostat. Give us a couple days to make the tutorial. Here are some pictures. Hope you like and thanks for looking. (the picture of the rack by itself, I hadn't taped the FlexWatt in place at the time of the picture.)

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! PLEASE DONT PUT DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding, but now its going to be easier for me to have a lot more snakes!!!!! ARGH!!! Well, you are going to have to answer to my room mates now!
Great job by the way.

I would like some type of rack system for my crested geckos...and don't get me started on corns snakes. I'm trying not to get another one and I'm running out of space!

Niceeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Does it get easier with each new one you build? It looks awesome.

I got a question too. Do you think if I built one, I could remove the 2nd, 3rd & 5th shelves and use it as a viv for three corns, so they could be housed in the same unit but not in the same viv?

Or what about removing just the 2nd & 5th? I am just curious, I don't want to make it unstable and I don't know how many shelves it needs to keep it square, but it would be cool if I could remove some and not just use it as a rack but a multiple viv. Plus that sure would keep me from having to waste so much floor space on individual vivs.

I am still on my first corn but heck if I could use that, I could get a few more, over time of course, and one day, should I get into the breeding aspect, I can have them all together but separate. From the length of your design, it looks like with removing some of the shelves, and making a divider you could possibly house 6 breeders or just 6 pet corns, in that one unit.

Dang you came up with a good idea, lol. But now you got my mind going with the ... hmmmm how many corns could I get now.... lol :dancer:
