So I am still new to snake care. My first corn got out of its cage and the cat got her. New cage and the 2nd wouldnt eat pet store assured me because she was so tiny could go a month without eating. Died 18 days in. 3rd is adjusting nicely, eats once a wk, and is growing out of her jumpy stage. Ive had her about a month now and things are going great! I still cant completely decide on a name though. Hopefully will make up my mind soon. Thought about snowy, or cream, my last ones name was bella, like bellatrix from harry potter, I liked that name but seems wrong to call her the same thing. I hope you all dont think terribly of me I miss my first two. Things just didnt work out.
 
Hi and welcome! There is lots of good info on this site. Lots of people have their snakes get loose, it wasn't your fault the cat found it before you did. And pet store snakes can be hit or miss for health. Glad your third baby has adjusted and is eating well for you!

Post a pic and I'm sure we can help you with name suggestions :)
 
Really sad about the other 2, but happy it is working with you're 3rd and hope all of it goes fine :D
Btw, show us some photos. There's a lot of curious around here ^^
 
Third time is really a charm. I'm glad to hear this one is working out for you. Pet stores are always iffy. I bought my boy from one and glad to know he's good and healthy. Most chain pet stores do not know how to properly care for snakes.

And we are photo-holics around here. I'd love to see a pic of your baby!
 
awe, I too am sorry to hear about the first two. :(

But things happen, and none of that was your fault!
This new baby is lucky to have you, and I'm sure you'll be able to find a name sooner or later, I like unique names when it comes to unique animals, and so I named my boy Sirius. After the brightest star in the nights sky. :)

But i'm sure if you post some photo's other's will give you some great ideas! ;)
