Snakes in designer genes
What people sometimes forget is that we can't really say that any given morph originates from a single gene... as the genetic passed on is in the form of chromosomes, each of which holds a multitude of genes. For all we know, all morphs are the product of several genes all sitting on the same chromosome, rather than just one gene- I think that the paradox is the result of a chromosome with the albino trait only that some melanin production was possible before it kicked in completely...
In short, we have barely begun to scratch the surface... it is however likely that if you breed paradoxes together, you raise your chances of seeing more of them... but there are no guarantees.
I believe that in kenyan sand boas and also in certain lines of cats, the *tendancy* towards mosaicism can be inherited, though the mechanisms aren't understood. It could be that the particular mutation of the albino gene they've inherited is "weak" in some way, and prone to reversion. It'll be cool to see what happens though
