If I didn't know better I might almost think my Arizona is an amber after the color she turned with her last shed, but Rich sold her to me as a hypo het amber... I wanted to get a couple shots of her with a 2001 crimson to compare, but something in the lighting seems to have made her turn red in the pics - in person she's really brown, not red; she does have a hint of orange though, so I don't think Rich mis-identified her, I think she's just a very light/brown normal :) Her parents were: EGG97G42, EGG97399, EGG95501

Anyway, here are a couple of the shots I got!

Jamie, Atlanta, and the strange Arizona... not cooperating for a group shot :)

ostensibly, a crimson is a hypo miami, so they aren't particularly rare (I don't think.) I have a number of crimsons in my collection.

as for the "substrate" and the pic: all my corn snakes get one or more of aspen, paper towels, and/or newspaper. They all live individually. Since I wanted a group shot I decided to put them in a tub with some organic cat litter (so they wouldn't burrow under it, but to stop the reflections from the plastic bin's bottom.) Not particularly orthodox, but it's a corn product, so hey - free dummy!

Curtis,
I have a pair of Hypos het silverqueen ghost that look just like Arizona. Now I have a hypo het amber that looks nothing like them at all. It's to late for pics now, I'll try to get some tuesday.
