The skull is definitely a rodent, my guess would be a rabbit, but I don't know how big it is either.

It was the size of a small chipmunk or ground squirrel

The 2 rows of incisors mean lagomorpha, or rabbit ^_^

I'm thankful that's not a bird; can you imagine such a terror flying around? That would definitely legitimize ornithophobia!
